We completed our repairs much faster than expected and left Red Bay, Alabama yesterday. We have reservations in Indiana at Michigan City Campground for May 5th. With the extra time we decided to travel to Berea, Kentucky to visit friends before heading further north.

We were happy to leave the severe weather forecast for Northwest Alabama. According to wunderground.com we can expect rain now through Monday. It may be wet but hopefully we won’t experience any of the tornado activity and hail forecast for the Red Bay area.

After a fun filled winter in Florida, highlighted by a visit from Jill, Karl and Abby, we are on the road once again. We are in Alabama at the Tiffin factory repair center to have a couple of things fixed on our RV. We couldn’t get an appointment this time so we will probably be here for a week or more waiting for our turn in one of the “Express Bays”. Time does pass rather quickly as we enjoy visiting with all the other Tiffin Motor Home owners here getting repairs or taking the factory tour. We have gotten many great ideas and tips on traveling, maintenance and general RV ownership.

When we leave here, we will head for Indiana to see families for a while. Then our plan is to go west to see Jill, Karl and Abby in Colorado and Mike and Tammy in Texas.
