We are experiencing very cold weather for Florida. It has been over thirty years since a cold spell lasted this long. We have lots of damage to this years orange crop. I’m sure prices will go up once we are through these cold days.

Yesterday we went with Richard and Vera to watch the Walt Disney World Marathon that started just before 6:00 AM. It was a cool 28-degrees when we got up at 7:00 AM. Not a good day for a run unless you were from the north where the temperature was much lower. There were approximately 55,000 runners and it took over an hour to get all of them across the start line. We went to see a friend from Indiana run this grueling race.

It was a cool experience and we had a great time. It was another first for Richard and Vera. Even though it was cold, they enjoyed the morning. It was nice to see Bob again and meet his friends Tina and Sean. Thanks Bob for inviting us to come out and watch you run.
