We celebrated Thanksgiving with our Park friends and family. We enjoyed a great potluck dinner at the Recreation Hall at noon on Thursday. There were all the traditional dishes, turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, and lots of gravy, sweet potatoes, green bean casseroles, rice, numerous salads and much more including several kinds of pie for dessert.

As you can see, there was lots of great food.

Here are three happy diners.
After dinner, we all went to Richard and Vera’s to install their Wii game. Richard, Vera and Mike did all the work. Char and I relaxed and watched. Later Bill and Ellie Mostert joined us and Bill offered his expertise. It can be very entertaining listening and observing an installation in a very small area.

Here Mike and Richard are removing the front of the TV cabinet.

Bill joined the fun.

Bill really gets into his work. Here he is working a fish-wire (which he went home and got to make the job easier) through a cabinet wall towards Mike in the next cabinet. There is not a lot of room to work in a RV. Although they all tried very hard to successfully install this system, they had to get longer connecting wires the next day to complete this project the way they wanted.

They did get a temporary connection for the evening so we could play. I think bowling was the game of the night. We may not be very good but we sure had a lot of fun.

After Char and I left, Vera, Richard and Mike played darts. From the conversation the next day it must have been a lot of fun. I’m not sure who was the best player.

Thanks Richard and Vera for another great evening.

We celebrated Vera’s Birthday tonight at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center. We had dinner at the German Pavilion. The food and entertainment were great as expected. It was a beautiful night to walk around World Showcase. We arrived early and enjoyed the Mexico, Norway and China pavilions on the way to The Biergarten at Germany.

To those of you reading this, I wish you could have joined us tonight. We had a lot of fun and a fantastic dinner at a wonderful place, Epcot Center. Perhaps next year if you are in the area, you can join in the celebration of Vera’s Birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY VERA

We have been home for over a month now and we are still moving things around trying to find the best spot for it all. We are probably wearing things out just moving them. I’m sure we will get organized prior to taking off next summer. At least I hope we will.

Last Saturday night a group from our Park all went to Macaroni Grill for dinner. The food was good and the interaction with each other was great. As always the portions are larger than necessary and we had leftovers the next day. Check out the smiles and laughter in the following pictures.

There were a lot more smiles and laughter than you saw in the pictures. Perhaps in my picture, I was a not smiling because I was listening to someone else talk. My Mama always told me to be polite and listen when someone else is talking. Maybe the others were trying to listen also. Or it might be because we can’t hear very well and didn’t hear when someone said they were taking a picture. Or maybe some can’t see very well and didn’t see the flash from the camera as the pictures were being taken. I did notice that some people like having their pictures taken and were in more than one picture. Some with and some without smiles. Whatever, we had a good meal and a great time.
