What is everyone looking at? Where are they? We are at St. Anthony Hospital in Michigan City, Indiana. A new baby is causing all the excitement. Our nephew, Eddie and his wife, Jessica became first time parents today. Their son, Wesley Edward, was born at 08:03 this morning and weighed in at 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 20 ½ inches long. Mother and baby are doing fine. Now here are some pictures of the proud parents and their son.

We were allowed to go into the nursery to see Wesley up close.

It has been a long time since we’ve been around a newborn baby, especially in our family. The miracle of birth and life is still as fascinating as when our children were born. Congratulations Eddie and Jessica. Wesley, welcome to the family.
