We are only a little over 100 miles from Denver so we decided to drive back there to see Jill, Karl and Abby. It was a pleasant drive with not much traffic. We saw a lot of traffic, especially motorcycles, going the opposite direction. We can only assume they were going to the Harley Davidson Rally at Sturgis, South Dakota.

Everyone ate lunch at one of Abby’s favorite places, Sweet Tomatoes. It was very good and I really enjoy their chili and homemade breads. I think it has become one of our favorites also.

After lunch we split up, Abby had very bad blister on her foot and she wanted Grandma to go with her to the Doctor. Abby’s foot will get better. She needs to take it easy, take some medicine and soak it a couple of times a day. You can learn more on Abby’s blog http://aboutabbyf.blogspot.com. Richard, Vera and I went shopping. Vera went to the health food store, while Richard and I went a few stores away to a very large Ace hardware store. It is probably a guy thing but Richard and I love checking out hardware stores.

Later we all gathered again at Jill’s house for a nice visit. It was great to see everyone again. We laughed and played games with Abby before heading back to Cheyenne.
