We spent the 4th with Karl, Jill and Abby. Karl fixed burgers on the grill and Char and Vera made a green salad and a fruit salad. It was a wonderful meal. Abby really liked playing with Brandie, Rich and Vera’s dog. She thinks she would like to have a dog again. We enjoyed sitting out in the back yard watching Abby and Brandie play together. We watched fireworks around the Denver area from a parking lot on a hill near Jill’s house.
Yesterday, Karl, Rich and I went to Best Buy and had my computer worked on. It is much faster now. Thanks, Karl, for helping me improve my computer.
In the evening, we watched Abby’s baseball game. Seven-year-old girls can be very entertaining. They are much better than I expected. It was a great game. Abby was very proud that she hit a fly over the pitcher’s head. This is a major accomplishment at this age. You can see the mighty swing below.
