The spring migration has started. Last week lots of our neighbors left for other places, mostly in the north. Some needed to be home with family for the Easter holiday. Some left because they wanted to see their house again. Others just wanted to get on the road and see new places. Whatever the reason, many are gone.
While some left, others have arrived. We had the privilege of meeting some of Vera’s family. Her brother Ralph, his wife Wendy, daughter Katrina and son Greg stayed in our Park for a couple of days. We all went to Epcot for the Flower Festival on Saturday during the day and Old Town in Kissimmee to see the cars that night.
On Sunday, we had an egg hunt for Katrina and Greg. It was almost as much fun hiding the plastic eggs filled with candy as watching the kids find them. Charlotte and Vera prepared a fantastic Easter dinner for everyone. Richard and Vera’s son and daughter-in-law, David and Elisa joined us. David made a delicious cheesecake for desert. After dinner, we watched Ralph and Greg fly their remote control helicopters in the field across the road from our Park. It was a great weekend and everyone had a great time.

Yesterday, we had awnings installed over the windows on the motor home. They match the large awning over the entrance door. They will help keep us cooler in the summer. It was also nice to have the windows open during the rain yesterday.
Both Charlotte and I enjoyed the ten-mile drive to and from Camping Connection for the installation. I think we also are ready to get out on the road again. Our turn will come soon enough. We are currently planning to leave here around the middle of June.
