The Holidays are over and we are settling down a little. We are trying to get things organized in our new home. We added some shelves to the basement storage. It sure is a lot easier to find things. We added a couple of shelves to the pantry also. It is so large we still haven’t filled it. Charlotte labeled all the can goods and put them in a plastic tub. When we need things, we just pull the tub out part way for easy access. Thanks Rich and Vera for the idea.
We are still walking around the park for exercise. We are experiencing unusually warm temperatures for January. Yesterday it was 82 degrees and today it is supposed to be a little warmer. I must say that we are enjoying the weather. What a way to spend the winter.
Each day we work a little on our plans for next summer’s trip. There are so many places we want to go that it is not as easy as we thought. Definitely in the plan are stops in Indiana and Colorado to see family. Now that we are Bounder owners, we want to attend the Rally in Missouri at the end of June. We want to see the Grand Canyon and visit El Paso, Texas. We lived in El Paso in the mid sixties while Ray was in the Army. It should be fun seeing all the changes in the area. Charlotte still has the addresses of the apartments and houses where we lived. We wonder if they still exist. This year we plan to spend at least six months traveling this great country.
