Do you like the sound of ocean waves coming ashore? Do you enjoy the cool breeze that is always present near the beach? Do you love beautiful sunrises and sunsets? Are you a fisherman? Do you like to watch the boats go in and out of the harbor? Do you love fresh seafood? We enjoy all the above. However, we don’t go fishing anymore but we enjoy watching others catch all sizes and kinds. We went to Cape Canaveral to see Mike this weekend. He only had a few hours off on Saturday but anytime together is fun. We took the motor home and stayed at Jetty Park. We were about a hundred yards from the channel where the big cruise ships go in and out. We watched and waved at the rows of people on the many levels as they passed by our vantage point. We also saw porpoise playing in the wake ahead of one of the big ships. Charlotte was delighted to see them. The fishing was great but the catching wasn’t very good. We saw lots of fishermen but not very many fish. We did see a couple of raccoons, several feral cats and lots of pelicans and gulls. It was a great weekend and we hope to go back again sometime.
