Today we enjoyed the 110th annual Hoisington, Kansas Labor Day Parade. There were 150 entries and it lasted about 1-½ hours. We saw bands, vintage cars, trucks and tractors, fire trucks, police cars, class reunion floats, horses, clowns and much more. We took our chairs and sat on Main Street next to a Dentist and his four beautiful children, ages eight years old, twins 3 ½ years old and 16 months old, from Great Bend, Kansas. It was fun watching the expression on the little ones’ faces as the parade went past. Prior to the parade we talked to people from Hoisington and a couple from Enid, Oklahoma. We enjoy meeting people and learning about them and where they live.
