Today we went to the RV-MH museum in Mishawaka, Indiana. This place is really great. We saw camping vehicles as old as a 1913 Ford Model T and trailer. They have trailers from the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and newer. There is something interesting for everyone.

We took our Motorhome to Suncoast RV in Mishawaka, Indiana today to have a few things fixed under warranty. Charlotte’s brother and sister in law went with us and we spent the night at the Elkhart RV Park. While the RV was in the shop, we went to Shipshewana, Indiana for lunch and shopping.

I have been fishing with my brothers a few times. We went out on Lake Michigan to fish for perch. We didn’t always catch a lot but did have a good time. Charlotte had fun driving the tractor and picking beans in the garden.

We drove for fourteen hours today. We both agree this will be the last time we spend this much time behind the steering wheel unless it is an emergency. We arrived at Charlotte’s brother’s house around 8:30 P.M., unhooked the car, parked the RV and hooked up to the electric. We will finish the hook ups tomorrow. Here is a picture of the RV parked behind their house.

This picture shows their garden on the side of the RV. We will stay here a couple of weeks to catch up with family and friends.

We finally got underway today. This is our first trip in our new home. We are on our way to Indiana to visit with family and friends. We stopped at Woods RV Park and Campground in Montgomery, Alabama for the night.

We took the motor home back to Camping World today and they installed the new monitor for the rear view system. Everything is working fine.

July 4, 2006

We moved the last of our possessions from the apartment to the motor home today. Tomorrow we will meet the Salvation Army truck for pick up of the sofa, computer desk, bed and a few small items.

We made reservations here at Ponderosa RV Park in Kissimmee for the winter. We expect to be returning around October 21st and staying until May 1st next year.
