We went to Camping World to have the rear camera repaired again. This time it is the monitor and they have to order one for us. Hopefully it won’t delay our trip to Indiana very much.

We went to Camping World to have a stone shield installed on back of the RV to protect the car when on the road.

We went back to Bartow to have a few things fixed on the motor home. The rear view camera wasn’t working, the entrance step stayed out continuously unless the engine was on, the clock wouldn’t keep the correct time, the washer/dryer installation rubbed on the bed causing undue wear on the bedding, seal on roof around the ladder came loose and the driver’s door wouldn’t open with the key. The dealer fixed everything, the rear view camera was a fuse, the entrance step was a connection, they ordered a new clock, shortened the washer/dryer cabinet, applied new caulk on ladder and explained that we were using the wrong key for the driver’s door. Oh well, I guess first timers are expected to make key mistakes.

We picked up our new motor home and drove to Ponderosa RV Park in Kissimmee, Florida. We are in space P14. The Florida Turnpike is just over the fence behind us and it gets rather noisy at night with all the traffic. This is a good place for us to stay while we finish emptying our apartment. We have a lot of places to put things in the RV but they are filling up quickly. Below is a picture of our site.We had to get a foil shade for the front window because of the sun. The AC would run all the time because of the heat coming in the front window. The shade helped greatly. Now it is a lot more comfortable and the AC doesn’t run constantly.
